Beaches

> Kolimvithres is one of the most beautiful beaches on the north part of the island, with crystal waters and sandy coves.

> Logaras is an awarded with a blue flag beach located at the south side of Paros that has a sandy shore and deep blue waters.

Churches & Monasteries

> The monastery of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, which translates to “Virgin Mary’s monastery with the hundred gates”, lies in the castle district of Parikia, and is one of the best preserved paleochristian monuments of the country.

> The monastery of Logovarda was built in the 1600s and displays an impressive architecture with beautiful frescoes, elaborate icons, and a rich library.

Archaeological sites

> The ancient marble quarries. Located in Marathi settlement, you can admire the remnants of this ancient site that generously produced first quality marble widely used by artists to create masterpieces like the Aphrodite of Milos and the Temple of Apollo in Delphi.

> The Mycenaean Acropolis of Paros. One of the most important archaeological sites of the island, the Acropolis dates back to the Neolithic period and nestles in the area of Koukounaries above Kolimvithres beach, crowning a hill, offering panoramic views.                                                                                                                                                                         

Castles & Fortresses

> The Castle of Parikia built in 1260, is a significant monument of high architectural aesthetics where one can admire the remnants of the ancient temple of Demeter that once stood there.

> The Fortress of Naoussa, located in the island’s harbor, was built by Venetians at the end of the 13th century as a watchtower to warn them of imminent invasions.

> Parikia is the charming capital town of Paros, built amphitheatrically on the remnants of an ancient city and under the distinctive Cycladic style, boasting a vibrant life with many touristic facilities and sites.S

> Naoussa is considered one of the most beautiful settlements of Paros. The village lies on the north region of the island, and its location is a perfect starting point for exploring the various landmarks and beaches nearby.

> Lefkes is a beautiful village located at the heart of Paros, adorning a lush green hill and offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings as well as Naxos island.
